Patios, views, trees, sitting areas and a romantic fireplace are reasons to make this your B & B choice. A modern home designed & built in 1970 by John Linwood, a well known architect in this area. He wanted to go beyond what others were not willing to explore or dare to do. Marshall Woods was first owned by a Waterloo University Professor and later purchased by a recognized local artist, Peter Ethril Synder from whom the current owners Jean & Don Marshall acquired the property in late 1999. They have completely transformed their new found home from a 1970's decor to an inviting stylistic modern day retreat with natural stone floors, glass counters, wool carpeting, modern appliances and appealing colour schemes. Reflections of artistic qualities can be seen throughout, with hand paintings on wall surfaces & wood, adding to the warmth and pleasure of the home. |
